Intromediate - is that really a word?

With some leave to take, I decided to try a week of Intromediate Sea Kayaking at the Bread Bin.

First we have the players...

Dave - Ace Sea Kayaker with patience of a saint- seen here relaxing in a park shelter in Menai Bridge

Tavi - a Prof of ologies and very enthusiastic kayaker who's power of persuasion has to be seen to be believed

Bill - Ozzie on tour. A kayak racer who was giving sea kayaking a go - the lack of rudder was overcome by sheer power!

Alison - owner of 8 rucksacs and an expert at being looking calm collected even after being flipped out in a tide race!

Rosie - who decided to make the week harder by having a fight with the Pyg Path - impressive bruise!

The week was one of skills and exploring with the occasion daft idea thrown in

Lunch stops varied from sublime to the damp

The big trip of the week was a voyage past the Ormes...

The Source of Many Rivers...

May Bank Hol Dawn bright and clear but very windy - a fab day to go explore the wilderness of mid Wales and in particular, Pumlumon Fawr. The AA Walking Guide suggested a walk up from the South - but the Northern approach appealed more.

The views did not disappoint...

Around the corner from Poppit

With the rtn of strong wind, it was time to explore some more of the coast path - Poppit to Cwebr looked like a good option with use of the Rocket.

As with every other part of the Pembs Coast Path, the scenery was impressive...

The dead frog was different
